Ski Challenge 2012 under starter's orders!
SC:12 starts with a first – a Super-G will be held on the Beaver Creek course for the first time from 2 December. It will be followed by a further Super-G in Val d’Isère, before the first downhill race of the season in Gröden, in mid-December. After Christmas, there is Bormio to spice up the new year, before the classic races of Wengen and Kitzbühel in January. There are World Cup points to be won for all races. The World Champion will be crowned after the Hahnenkamm downhill race – so racers will have to muster every ounce of strength one last time on the Streif course. It will be worth it, because there are attractive prizes to be won once again for the 2011/2012 season. If you’re up there with the best, you could even win an exclusive ski weekend with Didier Cuche and Patrick Küng.
New feature – the Webplayer
For the first time ever, we are offering the Ski Challenge not only as a download, but also as a browser-based version for PC and Mac. The Webplayer is only available for Windows. You can choose whether you want to play the game direct at www.skichallenge.ch, or download SC:12 to your computer. The new Webplayer version also allows you to post your best times and other achievements straight to your Facebook profile. SC:12 offers further optional features that add to the fun and excitement. Break all the rules in “Rowdy” mode or test your skill on slippery sheet ice with the “Extreme Ice” function. These features will be added as the season progresses.
